TWD is an established Dutch engineering company, with about 100 employees and 10 years of experience in the Netherlands. In June 2017, TWD opened its UK office and is therefore looking for smart engineers to enforce the team in London!
Working at TWD means working in a friendly environment amongst creative, talented and ambitious people. You work in a young, yet professional team where you are offered possibilities to develop yourself while working on UK’s major infrastructure projects. We work hard to deliver quality and meet our deadlines, whilst taking the time to enjoy lunch together, getting to know your colleagues over a coffee, and having regular social activities.
Jos van Dam started at TWD as an intern in 2013. TWD is sponsor of the LAGA rowing society and Jos was a member of that rowing club, so he already familiar with our company. When he was looking for an internship, a fellow student advised him to apply at TWD.
Now, almost 4 years later, Jos is a Project Engineer at TWD and is working on various projects. The first project that Jos took on as a Project Engineer was the HSD deployment frame for the Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm in 2015.
Jos hopes that in the future he will be able to design more large mechanical constructions that can make installation of offshore wind farms, or constructions in other markets, more efficient.
